Aaron Charles Rodgers (born December 2, 1983) is an American professional football quarterback currently playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of California, Berkeley, where he set school records for the lowest single-season and career interception rates. Rodgers was selected 24th overall in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers[1][6]. Rodgers spent his first three NFL seasons as a backup to Brett Favre before becoming the Packers' starting quarterback in 2008.
